HYMN 5 Agni

By Agni Agni is inflamed, Lord of the house, wise, young,. who bears
Our gifts: the ladle is his mouth.

God, Agni, be his sure defence who, lord of sacrificial gifts.
Worshippeth thee the messenger.

3

Be gracious, brilliant Godl to him who, rich in sacred gifts,would fain
Call Agni to the feast of Gods!
